Why Have Newborn Baby Photos at One Month?
There are many cultures that restrict going out in the first month or 30 days after birth. Maybe you missed out the first weeks, and just want to wait for bub’s skin to settle.
Sometimes you’re just so buried in things to catch up with, that before you know it a month has passed! At this time you’re probably rushing around seeing if anyone can take you in. But don’t worry, many babies are very small at one month and can still fit into our larger buckets for newborn photography.
Is It Still Newborn Photography at One Month?
It’s still baby photography, but whether you consider this specifically newborn, is up to your interpretation.
We still capture the little hands and feet, the ears, eyes, nose. They’re still little, but they’re much bigger than just a couple weeks ago.
Most babies will still fit in the buckets, most will still be wrapped. Some babies are more awake at this stage and are more active. But our focus is still on your love and connection with your child.
There’s really no hard and fast rule about when you should have your newborn baby photographic session. There really is something different and new at each stage of your bub’s growth.
Whatever age you choose, we join you in your journey to becoming a new family. We learn about your story, so that we can celebrate what’s important about what you mean to each other.
The result is artwork for your home that lets you relive the time, years from now.
