Bookings & Services
- We provide luxury photographic experiences for portraits and private events. We tailor each session to your story, for timeless, authentic images you’ll cherish.
- Services include use of lighting and equipment, expression and posture coaching where applicable, standard editing (Fine Touch retouching for portraits).
- Delivery of final photography files online via Dropbox within 5 business days. Video takes longer.
- RAW files, unedited images, and working files are not provided under any circumstances.
- Exclusions: parking/tolls (billed at cost), extra editing, rush delivery, or extended usage rights.
Fees & Payments
- 50% non-refundable deposit due on confirmation. Full payment due within 7 days of the session. Cancellations forfeit the deposit; reschedules subject to availability and fees below.
- Any merchant fees for credit card payments will be passed on to the client.
- Late payments attract a $150 fee plus 15% annual interest, compounding from due date, plus collection costs.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
- Bookings are firm on acceptance. One free reschedule allowed with 7+ days’ notice.
- If a session is cancelled or postponed by the Client:
- within 7 days of the session – higher of $400 or 50% of quoted fee applies.
- within 72 hours of the session – higher of $400 or 100% of quoted fee applies. (value of our reserved time/preparation)
- In documented cases of medical emergency or bereavement, we may at our sole discretion offer credit toward a future session valid for 6 months in lieu of cancellation fees.
- Clients over 15min late will be considered a no-show and a 100% fee will apply.
- Client delays on the day (e.g. unreadiness) will be billed at the standard editing rate per 30 minutes or part thereof.
- Events: Coverage starts at agreed time. Regardless of lateness coverage ends at the original end time. Otherwise overtime is charged at our discretion at 1.5x hourly rate per 30 minutes or part thereof.
Image/Video Selection & Delivery
- Selection of materials must be completed within 7 days of proofs being supplied. Otherwise they may be archived and an unarchival fee ($150 minimum) applies. No selection after 30 days forfeits right to final materials; 100% of package fee still due.
- Unordered materials after 2 weeks of the shoot may be deleted.
- Digital orders must be downloaded and physical orders must be collected within 2 weeks of availability or storage fee ($150 minimum) applies.
- Credits expire 1 month after shoot; no refunds or extensions.
- Products uncollected 1 month after the shoot shall be forfeited.
- All orders remain Studio property until full payment. No use licence exists until paid in full. Orders can’t be split for collection; partial payments don’t activate licence.
Copyright & Usage
- The Studio is assigned the Copyright in all materials produced and that copyright belongs to the Studio. We grant you a license for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Physical artworks may be displayed freely, even in business premises.
- Business use (websites, ads)? Ask us – fees may apply.
- Unauthorised use of materials prior to full payment or outside granted licence will be invoiced at 3x standard licensing fees, plus legal costs.
- We show some of our favorite work in our portfolio. Opt out for free.
Exclusivity & Coverage
- We must be the only professional photographers/videographers hired by you for the role.
- We endeavour to capture key moments but cannot guarantee any specific shot due to timing, lighting, guests, or other factors. Missed moments aren’t a breach or grounds for refund.
- We are not liable for ruined shots from guests or factors beyond our control.
- You ensure appropriate behaviour by all parties. Threats or hostility allow us to leave immediately, retaining full payment with no liability for incomplete coverage.
Liability & Indemnity
- We may cancel/reschedule for illness, equipment issues, weather, offering a full refund or new date at no cost.
- You indemnify us against any legal action, claim, or damages from use of, publication, or distribution of the materials, including legal fees.
- We use care and backups, but cannot guarantee against loss/theft.
- In all cases our liability is limited to refund of fees paid, pro-rata based on package if partial loss.
Archival
- You handle artwork care post-delivery. You acknowledge that it has limited life expectancy which is reduced by strong light or heat.
- Upon receipt, you accept all responsibility for archiving and protecting the materials. We don’t permanently archive the materials or guarantee reliability of cloud storage.
General Terms
- The person making the booking warrants they have authority to bind all attending parties to these Terms. Splitting payment between parties does not affect the booking party’s liability for full payment.
- This Agreement shall be construed, interpreted and governed in accordance with the laws of NSW, and should any provision of this Agreement be determined by an appropriate court as void, it shall not affect any of the remaining provisions whatsoever.
- These Terms and Conditions, together with your quote/proposal, form the entire agreement. No changes or variations shall be valid unless done in writing and agreed by all parties.
- In the event that any dispute arises The Client agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of NSW and all legal proceedings must be issued and litigated in NSW.
