Baby Hugo had the proudest parents! They had only moved to Sydney recently from Brisbane to start a new life here. This would be their first professional photography session in Sydney, and really since their wedding in Spain years ago!

Baby Hugo’s parents are both engineers, and had moved to Sydney only a few months ago for a new job. In a new city, they were still getting used to a strange new place and having baby Hugo at home was really a source of comfort and enjoyment in everyday life.

They weren’t really into the posed and staged style of baby photos. The way he smiles, the way he’s always inquisitive and looks around, how cute he is when he’s trying hard at tummy time, these were all moments that they wanted to capture at our baby photography session. All these things that make him unique at this time, that he will grow out of very quickly, we were really happy to be able to capture.

We had their Design Consultation in the same afternoon. We had so many wonderful photographs there were so many options in creating artwork. They certainly wanted something for little Hugo, but also fell in love with our Canvas Story Collections. In the end we created a Chifley for baby Hugo, that just totally represented whom he was right now.

We then created a canvas Clovelly set, that encapsulated them as a family. It showed them both as a complete unit, and the individual relationships between baby Hugo and his mum and dad. These will both hang in the living and dining areas, so they can be enjoyed each day.
