The Russell Family have always understood the importance of family. With two active little boys growing up so fast, it’s really easy to miss moments if you just look away for one second! Does that sound like your family?

We headed out to Centennial Park to find a quiet spot to celebrate their boys growing up. Little Ryan so loved to follow and copy whatever his brother Liam was doing, and their parents really wanted to capture that mood while they were still so young.

Parents are often concerned whether their young children will behave and perform for the camera. I’m sure every parent can empathise. It was not different for this family. When they went out it was often hard to get the boys to stay in one place or to listen to instructions. We tell parents not to worry about that. On this day we played many different games, and really let the boys do what they enjoyed and express their personalities. It was all fun and exciting, and the boys were keen to look at the photographs on the back of the camera. Once they know they have the freedom to enjoy themselves, they will show you something magical. It’s not about posing them in some old fashioned cheesy photos. We really let their connection shine and create artwork they will all treasure as they grow up.
